Someone on Reddit had a Portal themed lock screen. I took it one step further.
- The number above the barcode is battery percentage. This is also done with a very small SiMi Clock
-The icons are hard-coded to the wallpaper, then a blank icon is placed over them using Desktop Visualizer to create the links (blank png for icons linked)

SiMi Clock
Desktop Visualizer
Looking clean and simple with the black/white :D
Very nice. I saw this on reddit yesterday.
Awesome work! Black and white contrast really balance it all out.
I saw this yesterday, and added a few of my on tweaks to it, I’ll post it later today.
Very nice color coordination :P
What icons did you use?
Liking it. You could go a step further and try to make all the icons be Portal related. G.L.A.D.O.S.’s “eye” for the Camera, a Radio icon for Music, Cake for Internet Browser, etc. Not sure what could be used for Phone or Text. Maybe written out direct quote from a turret: “Is anyone there?” for Phone.
How can you set this as a wallpaper? Android wallpapers need to be 960×800.
Awesome idea, nicely reproduced. Portal reference = instant win :)
Pretty cool! :D
@davidbisiach I second that, how did you achieve that look with the wallpaper?
I don’t understand how you can get the blank png icons directly over the icons on the wallpaper. It always snaps to whatever the grid is set to.
@Matthewscottk Change the grid. I have mine set to 6 columns 8 rows. Works great.
@eventhorizon @davidbisiach There are ways to make it a “non-scrolling” wallpaper that takes a screen resolution of 800*480 or whatever your screen res is. I find the easiest way is to use wallpaper wizardrii (app in market) to set a non-scrolling wallpaper.
Pretty cool wallpaper but would be easier if it just had icons. I don’t even use the phone part since I am deaf. Obviously the music too.
What did you use to change your grid layout?
Thanks a lot Eric, that fixed it. Got this up and running and everyone loves my phone =) Awesome theme JoP!
@davidbisiach Not really :) https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cellophanesoftware.superwalllite&feature=search_result

Love the two colors theme. Minimalism rocks.
What launcher apps are you all using?
What icons did you use?
I’m new here, how do I get this?
I’m almost there! Struggling with simiclock though, any chance I could have more info on the settings you used?
so cool, how to make like that?
thank you very much
@JoRaPi How can i get it on my phone ? :x
I realy love that lock screen <3
got the SimiClock great, but how can i get done the desktop vizualizer with the icons in the wallpaper?
I made this for 800*960 resolution : http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/7329/portalwallpaper.jpg
Result (HTC Desire) : http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/1894/device20111227232634.png
But I can’t get the battery percentage in a place closer from the barcode.
@ Goryini or 4wsm – any chance you could explain how you got the battery barcode working?
Nevermind, I am guessing the barcode is just part of the wallpaper with a small battery % above it
I made my own version of this with edited assets from your own, using icons from the black_minimalist theme instead of the desktop visualiser system. Thanks for the inspiration! Totally amazing work.
