Set yourself a totally ridiculous goal; like watch the sun rise for multiple times on the same day.

@taeglichanders Only UCCW was used. I uploaded the modified background image (which has the icons); you can download via the link.

Congratulation, this screen has been selected as Screen of the Day 27/06/12

  10. Posted 2012/06/27 at 10:05 pm | Permalink

Fun fact: You can watch the sun set 2 times in the same day in Dubai. You watch it the first time at the base of the Burj Kalifa tower, then go to the top and watch it again.

  11. Posted 2012/06/27 at 10:38 pm | Permalink

@TheSimonizer Fun fact x2: The only height you need to watch the sun rise/set twice is the height of your own body! :) Vsauce Video

  14. Posted 2012/06/28 at 4:06 am | Permalink

perfect!! pleasee show how to make this fantastic style !!

  15. Posted 2012/06/28 at 9:07 am | Permalink

@kaolung true lol but you won’t see 2 full sets. You’ll see one and a little part of the other.

  16. Posted 2012/06/28 at 1:45 pm | Permalink

@TheSimonizer Just for the sake of awesomeness, according to xkcd: if you have a cherry picker, the approximate height you need to raise to see two full rises/sets is 6 meters.

This is weird. How do you call people.

  18. Posted 2012/06/28 at 6:34 pm | Permalink

This is the best screen I’ve seen in a while! Would it be possible to get a .psd? Thanks! :)

  19. Posted 2012/06/28 at 7:05 pm | Permalink

@kaolung oh nice! that’s good to know! I’m actually surprised it’s only 6 meters! I thought it was higher than that.

  20. Posted 2012/06/28 at 8:36 pm | Permalink

Great work. Mind sharing the Icon SET for use with the blank wallpaper?

  21. Posted 2012/06/29 at 12:23 am | Permalink

@rootingdestroyer I don’t often call people so there’s no need for me to put it on my homescreen. I can always swipe up to open the app drawer to get to the dialer.

  22. Posted 2012/06/29 at 12:25 am | Permalink

@MsJuniaRosa Sorry, I made these icons myself specifically for these screens; so I’m not currently planning to release them as all I made are these 6 icons.

  23. Posted 2012/06/29 at 12:30 am | Permalink

@Ameen I actually didn’t create the wallpaper using Photoshop (I used Fireworks, just because I know it better and it works) so unfortunately I can’t provide the .psd. You can download the modified wallpaper without the icons though via the link in the description or alternatively, download the full wallpaper by i-21 via the Wallpaper link on the top right corner of the page.

@kaolung no problem, thanks anyway dude :)

Hi, where have you gotten those icons from?

  26. Posted 2012/06/30 at 8:57 pm | Permalink

Hi, I am absoloutely loving your homescreen! I am a complete noob and I tried downloading your wallpaper and just applying it to my phone. However it doesn’t scale and fit properly. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  27. Posted 2012/07/01 at 11:17 am | Permalink

@FragmentDesign Which phone do you have? I have a Nexus One so the wallpaper is 480×800, if the ratio is different, it wouldn’t scale properly.
