good morning t. up-n-running again with a new computer. question…i’m retrofitting icons with borders. after i generate the new images i have 4 different icons- hdpi, ldpi, mdpi and xdpi. what are the differences between these files? my latest screen i used xhpi

@bill11222 thats good to hear :) What laptop did you end up getting? As for the icons, I’m no expert but believe those are differences in icon resolutions. I know hdpi is high definition and I believe the others are of a lesser clarity. Depending on your phone screens resolution, some formats will make the icons look blurry or pixelated.

i was going to get a PC/laptop. but at the last minute just got anxious over the PC virus concern.then i thought since i have a tablet that i have been using for a few months, do i need the mobility of the laptop? long story short, i got a 27 inch imac.

thanks for the info on the icons.

Nice work, how did you line the icons up the way you have? Horizontally mine are even but vertically i get a much larger gap?

    thanks for info and icons

@jamesfp I cant remember the grid size I used… probably 10×10. It also depends on your icon size.
