@garyarts thanks for sharing, nice work.
@Leeft you’re welcome
@garyarts THX!
Great jobs!!!
@betinho thanks!
great job once again!!
i’d like to change a couple of icons though…
where can i find them? :)
@theo1986 in the zip shared above there is a blank bg. U should change it in uccw and add your own icons you want. If u want I can share the PS layer style to have the same kind of icons. Thx btw!
ok…if you shared the PS layer i guess i could give it a try!
oh,and if you could tell me what is the name of the original icon set you are using that would be awesome! :) :)
@theo1986 don’t really know, these are custom one from many of sets:-) drop your mail address so
Very clean! :)
@DSaif thanks!
Anyone else having trouble with the UCCW skin?
I’ve put the uzip file in the UCCW folder, I’ve imported the skin, but my skin menu still shows empty.
@TheSimonizer it happens often when you have a different resolution device. Try download again and import again or put elements manually to the correct place inside the UltimateCustomClockWidget folder
@garyarts got it working by manually transfering the files! Thanks a lot!! Amazing homescreen once again!
Very nice!!!!!!
Thx again and enjoy!@TheSimonizer
thank you!@xiangqianchong
i really like this one so i want to creat one in your style without UCCW skin :)
@LiFeSII let’s go!:-)
I am a total Android newb, can someone please help me with what I have to do to change my phone to this. Do I need to root my phone? Is there a how-to guide to help get me started?
@jimjonson no it’s a totally non-root setup! All you need is uccw app with the skin imported (u can download above) and to set the wall with a hidden statusbar and t.e.a.m. battery bar. hope it helps
Perfect !!! Great job.
@garyarts I tried importing the uzip into uccw, but nothing happens. I’m totally stumped here… I’m sure I’m missing a step or two here…
using someone’s work and show like this is your own work isn’t cool :(
http://dribbble.com/shots/696455-Circular-Menu
so nice
Thx, i’ve been looking for a while since i downloaded once (maybe unbelievable but true). Tried to find, but couldn’t. I just used as a modded concept and now show the source by link u showed.@Zoniac
No, i think u have a device with a different screen resolution. This way u have to set parts manually unzipping .uzip file after rename it@jimjonson
@davidpunto @raykoo thx
so i managed to apply the uccw widget but unfortunately the buttons don’t work for me (only the button for file explorer sometimes work). My device is i9100. Any clues?
@zloscinski it must be because of not set to the correct size, hotspots are slipping away. Should be 3×3 widget
unfortunately still not working. Maybe it’s nova’s launcher fault? Any special settings? Maybe that’s because I’m using polish language in my android?
@zloscinski no, surely it’s not a language or a launcher problem. Try to open and edit skin manually to fit your needs
ok. will try that. Except that I can’t manage to make it working this is a brilliant art :) TU GaRyArTs!
@zloscinski kind, thanks, even though i have no idea to solve this. It seems to be an application bug or something
very very nice!
@morgynbrytt thanks morgyn!
Very nice work…but can’t get it in to UCCW at my HTC One S. Tried it to transfer manually…but where do i have to put the files? And do i have to rename it? What names then?
Thx!
Use 8×10 grid with a 3×3 widget. Check other skins elements and put them into the same place. No need to rename@CookieMonster @CookieMonster
@garyarts Had to make my own UCCW file because this one doesn’t open
Here’s my version on Nexus 7 http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/08/30/circle-menu-2
@DSaif here u go (but I don’t think this would be the real problem, this happens many times with uccw skins): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/circle.zip
Hello GaRyArTs, I did tried to unzip to UCCW then nothing to open, what i can do, One small problem please help me :)
@Saurabh meny told me the same, I reuploaded, try to download again. Can’t tell you more, I’m not the creator of the uccw app.
Yes, I’ve downloaded this new one “http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/circle.zip” then put to where? let me know…
@Saurabh u need to import to uccw (setting->import skin) and add a 3×3 widget to screen and select skin (circle), I think it should work
Nope, It seems work again, but started getting popup messages says “Fail to received our result, Try again” :’(
@Saurabh try to place elements manually after unzipping (rename uzip to zip) folder. no other idea then
Cool, …nice color choice!
@pxi312 Thx!
I select the uzip file in UCCW (import skin) but nothing seems to happen :S
@theDroidfanatic I can’t say more than for anybody else: that has the same problem, it must be an app specific issue or bug. I read many about this, problem can be because of differences of OS, resoluiton or made on a different kind of uccw version. Sorry about this, if I have the ablility to solve this mistery, I would do for sure
@garyarts Ah, thanks :) How do I manually add the items? And when I try to add the blank bg as a background in UCCW, it says it crosses the limits? One X. XHDPI. 1280×720.
@theDroidfanatic yeah, it must be the XHDPI. Don’t add blank bg but set alpha to zero. uccw file must be put into the root of UltimateCustomClockWidget folder, tff font to fonts folder of your sdcard, etc
@garyarts thanks for the instant replies :D I put the uccw file in the root of that folder. But how do I get it to show up in a widget?
@theDroidfanatic may you should check the file system of another skins
@garyarts sure. Anyways, I selected the uccw file, and applied it to a widget, but I just get that diagnol clock, and two blue squares, not the background
@theDroidfanatic that’s why I told you to check other skins. To finish your job u need the image used as bg and files used for the clock and hotspots (uccw should contain these)
@garyarts Ill check it out, Thanks bro! =)
@theDroidfanatic you’re welcome
great :D
@doodsz thx!
@garyarts Can you please make a video walkthrough of implementing this customization? I want to see where I’m going wrong.
Thanks a million!!
@jimjonson I can’t, since this setup is not set on my device now. But I will help you, if I can. I think I used 10×10 grid on LauncherPro and should play with resizing uccw widget to fit hotspots and being in the center. What is the step you do wrong?
@garyarts I’m having troubles inserting the uccw widget. I upload the uzip, and the widget just shows up as a white box… not too sure what to do here
@jimjonson I think it’s an uccw bug with skins importing version 1.0 to 2.x . You should place element manually
Can you please mention the installation steps to achieve this kind of homescreen?
@shail00 read above plz, I don’t feel like writing it time to time.
@garyarts Where did you get the icons (message, email, phone, etc) from? Or is there an icon pack I can dl? Thanks!
@TimJArizona those are just custom ones
love without hesitation <3
