Wanted to do more with textures – so I did a Google Leather … PLEASE ZOOM!
I recognize that UCCW bar at the bottom (albeit tweaked a tad) :-P
Nice work as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man, you know I love these textures and engraved elements…
@mathewrice @TheRubenator @garyarts Thank you kindly! I know it’s not as involved as some of my others – but the time spent on the texture and the stitches was something I had to showcase. ;)
@phoenixwave many other guys can’t appreciate hard texture work. congrat, soon will release my wood theme (yes, another one:-)
@garyarts awesome can’t wait! … actually – I was thinking about tweaking this one even still – what would you say to a ribbon down the left side of it (kind of like a bookmark you would find on a Molskine or something) and use that for my most used apps?
@phoenixwave good idea. Even if you create a similar LS. App drawer in the center is real cool.
A second screen will be nice with the apps inside a leather compartment, just saying :o
@garyarts yeah, I like having the app drawer directly in the center … just seems like an accessible place
@TheRubenator oh no – a 2nd screen?!?! -haha … actually I think a 2nd screen might work – but I really love just having everything I most often access on one panel. (maybe I’ll design something just to show the peeps of MyColorScreen some love ;) …)
like to have one main screen and another one for like my main widgets, media and social
Phoenix you do wherever you want, You the Man!!!!!!!, like the ones you have done with your Wife on it, Lol!!!
Congratulation, this screen has been selected as Screen of the Day 12/09/12
There you go, Congrats
@Peachanan Well thank you kind sir! :)
@TheRubenator ha – perhaps I’ll do a contact page … damn now you’ve given me other ideas – this might have to be a continually updated format – thanks Rube!
Just like business cards slots, that would look awesome , take a look in here: http://www.callingallgeeks.org/30540/pay-from-your-iphone-with-futuristic-virtual-wallet-app-card-case/
@TheRubenator Even a better idea! (nice dude – I’m gonna have start tapping into you for my brainstorming …)
Thanks Phoenix you know I’m a Fan, I just love playing with Photoshop, the little bit that I know is all taking tutorials from Lynda.com, I been looking into taking some classes lately
With all this chatter going on, does it mean you might release this awesome design?
Me and my GS3 would love you even more :-P
@mathewrice Yeah I’ll be releasing some .psd files for everyone to use once I get a new finished piece done! :)
It looks like something cool is coming :o
@phoenixwave I do love PSDs :-P
Thanks for being such an awesome contributor!
Indeed – I’m going to have to make a whole new post with the new stuff I’m doing. But when I do – I’ll include the .psd files for you to play around with. (they won’t include “everything” but enough for you to be dangerous with)
Tic, tac, tic tac Boom!
Hi! How is it possible to set a current weather icon only in fancy widgets (as I see here)? I’m really fed up with uccw weather functions…
@TheRubenator Today is the day … ;)
@garyarts I use the 4×1 widget (because it centers the icon) and then I make sure to go into settings and make it so that all the other elements of the widget are not shown – and if one is still shown I make it’s alpha = 0 … hope that helps!
@phoenixwave thanks, it really does. that’s what I thought to work:-)
I lost count on how many times I keep coming back here, just saying!
Are the assets of this available anywhere? This is a very nice layout.
Please provide the UCCW skin. It’s awesome :)
@garyarts @TheRubenator @gamefreakgcb @hauntedhunter Posting a new one now! With .psd files and the original UCCW file I used to create mine from! Enjoy!!! :)
@mathewrice Look for the new Leather UI setup ;) … there are .psd files and uccw skin there!
Thanks so much for all your help!
Everyone – this guy’s great and knows his stuff! Don’t be afraid to contact for help.
