CardsCards

Video

Date Added: Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at 5:22 pm

Cards. Zoom please. The inspiration of method from here: http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/09/18/slidock/ (thanks Andi!) See GIF (wallpaper link on the right) how it works.
Walls, transparent icon and uzips: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/cards.zip
Main settings: Apex 9×7 grid, dock disabled, no margins, no transition. MLW: set walls, no transition. Uccw: 1st screen – cards1, 2nd screen – cards1 and cards1 (set 4×2 widgets and resize to fit). Center icons are transparent to switch between pages (open card 2 and close)
Or another way: set this wallpaper (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/cards_wall.png) and set no transition and speed to 1 (thanks Alex T.!). This method spares you memory and looks even better.
Video tutorial (thanks to MarcoJHB for his great work): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lov6poMY53M

love the design! i would prefer not to use MPLW for only 2 screens to save ram usage. Just make a big wall half for 1st n half for 2nd.

  19. Posted 2012/11/24 at 1:11 am | Permalink

@AT428HK yep, you’re right, I use it only for the effect

No problem, i have this setup on my phone now and works wonderfully. I was wondering if you would make one with a carbon wallpaper with the cards

  40. Posted 2012/11/27 at 2:40 am | Permalink

    Another great work or art!
Any way we can get an HD compatible version?
My GS3 would really enjoy all the extra pixels :-)

Awesome theme! When I try to duplicate it, Android forces me to crop the wallpaper, so I lose most off the important stuff. Anybody know how to fix that? Also, when importing the UCCW theme,I just get a small white box…newbie here, it’d you can’t tell.

  48. Posted 2012/11/28 at 10:13 am | Permalink

@redjax try using multipicture live wallpaper

  49. Posted 2012/11/28 at 12:03 pm | Permalink

@redjax read description or watch video tutorial first

The only hotspot that works for me is the “gmail” one. what have I done wrong if the others doesnt work. Like pushing Phone does nothing.

  51. Posted 2012/11/29 at 1:49 pm | Permalink

@siphex because hotspots are set for a different app to open. (I use exdialer, not the stock dialer, etc). You need to open skin in uccw and edit hotspots and set any app you want. Hope it helps

  52. Posted 2012/12/10 at 3:27 pm | Permalink
