Pulldown

Video

Date Added: Friday, December 14th, 2012 at 1:26 am

Pulldown. Zoom, plz. Thanks XNiikk for his transmitter battery idea.
The way it works: tap to drop down and close hidden content with no transition effect in Apex. Grid is 9×7 (again), no dock, no margins, no shadows, two screens, transition time is 1 (or now it works with 0). Set icons to jump another screen (1 and 2) Files (icons, uzip, wall): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/pulldown.zip
Ask if something isn’t clear (uccw skins: clock with battery is 5×2, counters 5×1, weather 1×1, need fine tuning to fit to the right place)
Video tutorial (thanks to Marco JHB):

Button temp psd: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/pulldown_button_temp.psd
Hd wall (separated and full, dunno if grids fit or not): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/pulldown_wall_hd.zip

This is the first screen in months that i’ve wanted to apply to my phone, so nice! Are there more icon files though so I’m not stuck using the same ones you have shown?

  31. Posted 2012/12/15 at 12:43 am | Permalink

@Matthewscottk thank you. Those icons are just custom ones created for myself. I shared them. But if you need, I can share psd icon template

  32. Posted 2012/12/15 at 1:05 am | Permalink

A lack of psd template usually results in me not changing my screen, but I reeally want this look on my phone, a psd template would be amazing.

@garyarts can you post the psd for the wallpaper please

  47. Posted 2012/12/17 at 3:23 am | Permalink

    @chromium No, I won’t this time

  48. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:36 pm | Permalink

wallpaper is not fitting to S3′s screen.

  49. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:38 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar you porbably know what the difference is between S2 and S3 screen resolution. It will never fit, cuz I don’t have a device with a resolution of yours

  50. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:46 pm | Permalink

yes i do. i just wondered that maybe you have the correct wp for S3 but i’m seeing you don’t anyway i’m gonna wait for you to buy an s3 :D great great homescreen..

  51. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:47 pm | Permalink

So nice but why is my screen scrolling from left to right and not from up to down.
Hope you can help me. Hope you also can make more icons in the future.
As we say in Holland, perfect.

  52. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:49 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar what is your resolution? maybe I can create the wall, but not sure everything will fit even though…

  53. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:51 pm | Permalink

@gertje transition speed should be set to 1 (or 0) in Apex. Check video tutorial. I love your country:-)

  54. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:51 pm | Permalink

It is 720×1280 i am gonna be appreciated for it and many s3 users gonna be surely :D

  55. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:52 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar I’ll try to do my best:-)

  56. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:53 pm | Permalink

but i think the most fitting size is 1440×1280 because when setting the wallpaper it’s zooming a bit. Edit: I figured it out it’s 1440×1280 for scrolling wp’s but the resolution 1280×720

  57. Posted 2012/12/18 at 9:55 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar using Quickpic it won’t zoom, but you’re right the wall should be 1440×1280 (double screen)

  58. Posted 2012/12/18 at 10:10 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar here it goes (dunno if grids fit or not): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/pulldown_wall_hd.zip

  59. Posted 2012/12/18 at 10:11 pm | Permalink

    i’m trying right now.

  60. Posted 2012/12/18 at 10:15 pm | Permalink

looking great thank you very much pal :D :D I have a noob question can i modify buttons with your psd file on Gimp? I opened it but template doesn’t look like other buttons

  61. Posted 2012/12/18 at 10:16 pm | Permalink

@OmarFar great. It sounds you can’t, you need a real PS:-)

  62. Posted 2012/12/18 at 10:28 pm | Permalink

  66. Posted 2012/12/19 at 1:38 am | Permalink

  67. Posted 2012/12/19 at 2:02 am | Permalink

Yep, done everything like the tutorial. Dont get it. I have a s3 but that
makes no diverends i think. I wil make some other changes
to see wats wrong. Thanx for your time.

  72. Posted 2012/12/20 at 5:44 am | Permalink

  73. Posted 2012/12/20 at 11:46 am | Permalink

quite unusual. Yet very nicely designed.

  74. Posted 2012/12/20 at 11:51 am | Permalink

  75. Posted 2012/12/20 at 11:52 am | Permalink

    @droidcub thank you!

  77. Posted 2012/12/20 at 1:27 pm | Permalink
