Screen Of the Day on 12/20/2012
Date Added: Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 at 5:43 am

A simple setup with UCCW.
Please zoom for more details.
Here you’ll find all the files you need: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/y4vgso61orbwa39/Iqih1AuEs8
The fonts are different due to the license issues with non-free fonts. You can also play with your own fonts, but be aware of chosing one with caps-only.
For my setup I’ve used Apex with 7×7 grid & overlapping widgets.
The widgets were added from top to bottom.
Have fun!

wall paper doesn’t fit on my S3

  19. Posted 2012/12/24 at 9:54 pm | Permalink

Any idea on how to do this for newbies? Is there a way to have one flashable file that does it all, like flashing a ROM?

  20. Posted 2012/12/24 at 10:23 pm | Permalink

@streetstrip01 there will be a video tutorial available soon

  21. Posted 2012/12/24 at 10:25 pm | Permalink

Awesome, thanks! Kinda new to all of this, took me a few months to get up the courage to root and ROM my Thunderbolt, years ago. New territory for me! Thanks for the quick response!

  22. Posted 2012/12/24 at 10:37 pm | Permalink

Love this, it looks great on my phone. Just curious how you got it to spell out Post Meridiem, mine insists on just AM and PM

  23. Posted 2012/12/24 at 10:39 pm | Permalink

@NCInfidel you have to set the format to “text” and then edit the custom text file ;)

  24. Posted 2012/12/24 at 10:59 pm | Permalink

    And now it’s perfect, thanks!

  27. Posted 2012/12/30 at 12:16 am | Permalink

I reworked this a bit to fit properly on my Nexus 4, used a higher resolution background and tweaked some of the wording so it sounds more natural. Mind if I share?

  28. Posted 2012/12/31 at 7:51 am | Permalink

    @MartinAnsty of course not ;)

  29. Posted 2012/12/31 at 6:10 pm | Permalink

  30. Posted 2013/01/03 at 4:20 am | Permalink

@hitman1k I made a few more changes and posted it here: http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/01/03/nexus-vintage-2/

  31. Posted 2013/01/05 at 5:54 am | Permalink

Can you please upload the psd of the background? I want to edit it to fit my device. Thanks a ton!

  32. Posted 2013/01/11 at 4:18 am | Permalink

Probably a stupid question.. How did you get the text clock?

  33. Posted 2013/01/14 at 8:43 am | Permalink

This is awesome! Great concept! I’m using this on my Note 2 lockscreen… needed to adjust & tweak a few things of course but it’s looking nice… just need to mod the JB slider so it’s the same grey color as the banners etc. It’s going to look sweet! Cheers!

  34. Posted 2013/01/19 at 7:43 pm | Permalink

Do you have any more icons like the phone and text? Trying to set this up on my own and would love some different ones to work with.

  35. Posted 2013/02/02 at 4:00 pm | Permalink

Doesnt working on my HTC One V with CM10. If I add bottom, weather and time, I cannot add week number, battery and next alarm cause of space. And I can not click on menu button cause I will always activate vintage_bottom widget. Can I fix it?

  36. Posted 2013/02/15 at 3:37 pm | Permalink

Just want to let you know, THIS theme was what started me theming :)

  37. Posted 2013/03/04 at 5:02 pm | Permalink

Is there any chance to get the PSD file? I really want to rework it with notification bar…

  38. Posted 2013/04/03 at 4:14 pm | Permalink

could u give us the font names ,the one u used in ur mod ?

  39. Posted 2013/10/02 at 10:09 am | Permalink

I really love the look of this, but I am new to customizing. Is there anyway to make this as a lockscreen instead of the homepage?
