Hi, I saw this (http://dribbble.com/shots/872208-Quiet-App-Interface ) lately and it inspired me.
I hope you like it !

This looks great. Nice job!
@ash0_9 Thanks !
Absolutely wonderful.
@SensationNation Thank you :).
Congratulation, this screen has been selected as Screen of the Day 01/03/12
@Peachanan Thank you very much :D !
@Samauriz I downloaded the .zip and icon files, changed the APEX settings, but when I imported your skin all it did was add the the clock. I know I’m not doing something right here. Please help!
@UCbeb30 The UCCW only is the clock and the date, that’s normal.
For the shortcuts on the image, you must place your apps’ shortcuts over the ones embedded in the wallpaper (long press the apps in the drawer), and then long press them and replace their icons with a transparent PNG.
For the ones in the dock, do the same but replace their icons with ones from the crisp icon set ( you should modify their color ).
I hope it helps you !
@Samauriz This is the first time I’ve done anything like this. Do i have to set the wallpaper to the “Image” you said to download? So I can’t use a custom image?
@UCbeb30 “Quiet by Samauriz.jpg” in the .zip file is the wallpaper you have to set with Apex . The image in the downloads, the one tagged, is just there to show where I got it from, or if someone wants it, etc…
@Samauriz So it is possible to manually change the image where the squares are? Thanks so much for taking all the time to explain. I really appreciate it.
@UCbeb30 You’re welcome ! You can but you have to modify the wallpaper with Photoshop (that’s what the .psd file included is for). I think it also may be possible to open psd files with GIMP (which is free) but I’m not sure.
Hi @Samauriz, thanks so much for sharing this with us. Like @UCbeb30, this is my first time attempting something like this. It’s a bit too technical for me, but it’s fun to figure it out. My question is if I need any additional software/apps to customize my screen to look like yours. If not, do you recommend any sites for newbies that spell out to do things like change the Apex settings, make icons transparent, etc.? Thanks so much.
@Angella You are welcome ! The best advice I can give you is to download Apex launcher and/or UCCW, and to play bit with each of them. Explore the options and you’ll get to learn how to use them, it’s not that difficult :).
When you’ll have learnt how they work, you should be able to have this screen on your phone, it’s just a wallpaper, transparent shortcuts, and a clock widget .
Thanks @Samauriz. Apex Launcher was pretty technical so I’m trying UCCW now. Hopefully I’ll report back with a success story soon.
@Angella Ok, it just takes some time at the beginning but once you understand , it is pretty easy.
@Angella try Launcher 8 from the Play Store. Pretty sweet. Very similar to @Samauriz look/design.
How do I download icons from the icon deposit website ?
@abyssiniaa http://puu.sh/1Q4F7
I cannot make it more obvious ^^’
I tried that before but it didnt work. Thanks anyways
@abyssiniaa You should try to contact the support of the site then, I can’t fix it, sorry :/.
Will do that, thanks for your reply. Great design
@abyssiniaa No problem, and thank you !
