INTRODUCTION: Hey guys, this screen has completely been inspired from Holo UI by fluffen: http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/01/23/holoui-3/
Thanks to him and his great idea. Moreover, I already read a comment asking for more screens, so I decided to take it further (I don’t usually change my setups but this was something special)
Notes (to follow tutorial):
NOTE 1: I don’t use photoshop because I’m not really comfortable using it, and I like to keep things simple. So I make all wallpapers and images on MS Powerpoint! Well that’s odd, but I design things there and save them as picture. I adjust the resolution by using paint.
You can use Photoshop if you like, but I have provided with pptx file.
NOTE 2: There is a lot of effort to be put for adjusting the icons, this setup was made for Samsung Galaxy Note (800X1280)
NOTE 3: Made minor adjustments to the original Holo UI’s wallpaper and the functions are similar. It is highly recommended that you watch the video for Holo UI on the official mycolorscreen channel on YouTube.
NOTE 4: Feel free to use any other widget, its all up to choice and that’s the beauty of Android
Further Notes (Written after tutorial):
Note 01: I used GoLauncher because of its AppDrawer. You can use Nova Lacunher or Apex too.
Grid Size is 7X9, hide dock, notification bar. Also, set the transition speed to 90 or more with flip animation (with wallpaper). Rest is self explanatory. Note, you can apply Minimal MIUI theme completely to like almost anything in GoLauncher and it makes the app drawer, the folder interface everything look really great. This was missing in other launchers.
Note 02: There is no widget overlapping in GoLauncher and that creates a lot of trouble. Things would be easy otherwise don’t worry.
Note 03: By transparent folders, I mean the 3 dots next to my apps in each of the screen. I added the rest of the apps there and put them in a folder and changed its icon to a transparent png which you can find in most video descriptions on the mycolorscreen channel
Note 04: I have applied LUCID theme for APW. Darker text has been used along with 30% background transparency to make it look fit to the wallpaper.
EPILOGUE:
This UI is still not perfect, there are a lot of better designers than me. All I want in my homescreen setup is that it should be functional and should require minimum number of clicks for an action.
I believe rest of the discussion would can take place in the comments, I hope you all liked my work. And do tell me if you made any improvements to this setup.

@AlienBunny what is the link for the uzip file download?
@e3jeremey Glad to see a comment.
I used the uzip by the original screen.
Here is a link to that: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/29210884/HoloUIbyfluffen.zip
If you want the uzip for what I adjusted for the Galaxy Note, can you tell me the steps to save a uzip?
Congratulation, this screen has been selected as Screen of the Day 02/10/13
Looks dope man! :)
@fluffen Hey! Thanks a lot man, feels really good that your commented. I told you, that I’d be continuing the idea further.
Though, I thought the music player widget could be a little better maybe.
