Screen Of the Day on 03/16/2013
Date Added: Friday, March 15th, 2013 at 8:25 am

Diagonal Tiles. MInimal setup with easy uccw hotspots. Zoom, please.
For HDPI (thanks to Nazato):
Basic setting: no margin, no shadows, no docks, 9×7 grid with two screens, overlapped widgets on, statusbar hidden, app drawer opens by a swipe up gesture
Uccw skins: diag2 is 4×2, the others are 1×5, all of them fine tuned
Edit: don’t know why, but temperature shows wrong info at me now… it happens because of uccw or a location problem

just a curiousity to see it.

  35. Posted 2013/03/18 at 2:49 pm | Permalink

  36. Posted 2013/03/18 at 10:07 pm | Permalink

  37. Posted 2013/03/19 at 4:53 am | Permalink

@garyarts , can I resize your upcoming themes to HDPI? :D

  38. Posted 2013/03/19 at 5:14 am | Permalink

@amalcns I think, u can use 720×1280 wall, cause it has the same screen ratio

  39. Posted 2013/03/19 at 5:14 am | Permalink

    @Nazato u can, sure

  40. Posted 2013/03/19 at 5:27 am | Permalink

@garyarts Thank you so much! :D

  41. Posted 2013/03/20 at 1:50 am | Permalink

Just a heads-up to everybody on mycolorscreen! This little app helps IMMENSELY when trying to fit wallpapers to your device’s resolution:

  42. Posted 2013/03/20 at 2:23 am | Permalink

@CruxH great, thanks, but these kind of walls bring the base of the design, so if you crop it or modify it everything will mess up

  43. Posted 2013/03/20 at 2:31 am | Permalink

I’m using a Galaxy Nexus. Can’t figure out how to resize the uccw widget to fit into those tiles. Help please!

  44. Posted 2013/03/20 at 2:33 am | Permalink

@DreamRockman u have to play with it, our screens’ rez is the same, so should fit

  45. Posted 2013/03/20 at 2:48 am | Permalink

Oh finally I found out what the problem was. Galaxy Nexus has the navigation bar which occupies some of the usable screen size so the resolution is not the same when I apply the wallpaper. Solution is either using expanded desktop or resizing the wallpaper (thankfully you included the .psd). Thanks a bunch for such amazing homescreen anyway!

  46. Posted 2013/03/20 at 2:53 am | Permalink

@DreamRockman yeah, that’s what I wanted to say, these two ways can work: remake wall or to solve the bar problem in another way

  47. Posted 2013/03/20 at 3:06 am | Permalink

@garyarts I see what you mean, but this is the tool I usually use. Also used it here to fit the wallpaper to my RAZR, and yes, it got cropped by a little margin. All I had to do then, it just align the UCCW images a little bit, and it all came along nicely in the end. I don’t always use that tool, just suggested it as an alternative to some less technical people :)

  48. Posted 2013/03/20 at 3:28 am | Permalink

@CruxH yeah, thanks for the tip and I also say it’s a useful app, but nothing can be done when the wallpaper is the main part of the design

  49. Posted 2013/03/25 at 6:24 am | Permalink

@garyarts I want to make my own homescreen but I don’t know how i can make a customized wallpaper. Can you tell me how you make this ?

  50. Posted 2013/03/25 at 6:57 am | Permalink

@sven01 well, it is not an easy question… try with photoshop or gimp

  51. Posted 2013/03/25 at 7:54 am | Permalink

  58. Posted 2013/04/11 at 3:35 am | Permalink

can i use this theme for a 10.1 inch screen tab???

  59. Posted 2013/04/11 at 3:36 am | Permalink

@shahdaab try it, maybe it works, but you should use alternative launcher like Apex or Nova I think

  60. Posted 2013/04/11 at 8:32 pm | Permalink

wallpaper compatibility problem :( plz help!

  61. Posted 2013/04/12 at 1:19 am | Permalink

@shahdaab you have to rework the wall by photoshop (psd attached in description). Btw you should use Quickpic app to set wallpaper by

  62. Posted 2013/04/12 at 5:39 am | Permalink

    still not compatible :(
make some themes only for tablets please.

  63. Posted 2013/04/12 at 5:43 am | Permalink
